The cost of your care is dependent on a number of factors but it’s fair to assume that even twice-daily visits from a care worker will be considerably less expensive than a residential care home with the added benefit of providing one-to-one care in the comfort and familiarity of your own home.

We will provide you with a detailed breakdown of all costs prior to you entering into an agreement with us and we insist that all charges are upfront and transparent. Unlike many care service providers, our costs are fully inclusive and fully supported; there are no hidden costs and any extra charges for such services as hoisting teams and waking nights (for people who require round-the-clock vigilance) are made clear from the outset.

And unlike some other providers that merely act as agents taking a commission to put you in touch with health care workers, your service contract is always direct with Horizon Homecare and all of our staff are employed by us.

We generally charge only small additional amount for couples (a residential or nursing home will charge a fee for both individuals), making our live-in care a more cost-effective solution in this situation. Our fees only ever increase in line with annual inflation rates or if your requirements necessitate a care review.

You can pay monthly or weekly and our fees cover:
  • Regular, booked visits by a home care, usually provided by a rota of two carers ensuring consistency of care.
  • 24/7 support from our client services team providing a link between you and your care team.
  • Holiday & sickness cover for your carers so your care needs are always met.
  • Travel to and from your home by your carer(s).
